Hi all! I keep hearing how 1 in 8 Americans struggle with hunger, and so inspired, I donated to my local food bank. Then I thought of Jayne Hats for Turkeys.
Many food banks have special programs to provide a holiday meal - turkey and all the trimmings - to low income families who can't afford the luxury. It is one of the few times during the year that food banks will collect perishable items. $25 is all it takes to feed a family.
Donate to your local food bank (or equivalent hunger-fighting charity), let me know, and you could win yourself a very cunning hat. (See website for details on how to enter.)
I'm making no restrictions by country. The point is to feed the hungry. Please spread the word.

Hey guys, quick FOTD. Today I decided to do a dark purple and black smokey eye. I did it on my way to class and I think it came out great...just not in the pictures.
The dark purple doesn't look purple at all in my photos, it looks like I have blue on my inner lids. The color is called Londondungeon and it is from the Aromaleigh Rocks! Sonic Cosmetics mineral eyeshadow collection. Check out the site for what it is supposed to look like, but if you are too lazy, here is the description: londondungeon: michievous purple glimmer reflects the depth of black.

MAKE UP
I purchased the limited-edition Heidi Collection 2009, Exotic Jewels eye shadow palette a few weeks ago. So I did a look with it. I also attempted false lashes but I think it was an epic fail. Does anyone know of a simple way of applying them? And what glue would everyone recommend.
